In its current condition the mirror is up although I can move it down. It will only move about 30 degrees. As you can see once I fire the shutter the film advance lever is stuck and wont move anymore unless I push against one of the pieces inside the camera. Im not sure if that is important or not.

I thought about posting this in ranalog but it would get buried in the old ask anything -thread so here goes. The BX20 and all the B series Prakticas have a mechanical fall back shutter speed when theres no batteries in it so this would not stop the shutter from firing. The film reached its end during the middle of my moving the film advance lever. The film advance lever has two functions advancing the film but also cocking the shutter. Yesterday i finished a roll and changed it but when I tried to advance the film the lever got stuckwouldnt move. As you can see once I fire the shutter the film advance lever is stuck and wont move anymore unless I push against one of the pieces inside the camera.
